[An Important Notice from Bellissima Japan to All Concerned: Report and Request Regarding Breach of Contract and Poaching by Saint Beauty]

Thank you for your continued understanding of and cooperation with the activities of Bellissima Japan.

We have an important request for all certified instructors and students associated with our company.

Since 2019, Bellissima Japan had a business outsourcing agreement with Saint Beauty Co., Ltd., and together we worked to train many certified instructors and students. However, in December 2023, the company asked to terminate the agreement "in order to launch a new, competing pageant," and we accepted.

At that time, we signed an agreement that clearly set out the following conditions, and formally terminated the business outsourcing agreement:

 • For two years from the end of the agreement, until December 2025, any Mrs. Universe-related students and alumnae involved must always go through Bellissima Japan

 • No sponsors, staff, students or instructors may be poached without our permission

However, in March 2024, Saint Beauty Co., Ltd., the party to the agreement, closed its business, and we have no contractual relationship whatsoever with "Saint Beauty International LLC," which subsequently began operating.

That company has claimed that "the agreement is invalid because the company that signed it has closed," and we continue to observe poaching of instructors, students and sponsors associated with us at the lessons, fashion shows, pageants and other events it organizes.

These actions constitute a clear breach of contract, and we have consulted with our lawyers on several occasions with legal action in view.

We are doing everything we can to maintain a healthy environment and relationships of trust, so that each of your efforts and sincere activities are not undermined for the convenience of others.

In light of these circumstances, we sincerely ask all certified instructors and students associated with Bellissima Japan to refrain from participating in Saint Beauty-related activities from now on.

This request is made to protect all of you, as well as our philosophy and our sincere way of operating. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation.
