Mrs. Universe Japan Featured on TV Asahi’s “Sand & Kis-My no Ki ni Naru Man”!
May 19, 2026

Mrs. Universe Japan was featured in the special segment “A Big Survey of ‘Wakamie-san’: People Who Look Younger Than Their Age!” on “Sand & Kis-My no Ki ni Naru Man,” broadcast on the TV Asahi network on Monday, May 11 from 8:40 p.m.
Presented as a “celebration of beauty,” the program took viewers behind the scenes of the Tokyo Final!
It introduced the secrets of how the finalists, selected from about 500 applicants, stay healthy and radiantly beautiful.
In particular, the easy-to-copy “youthful look technique” (the “nod-yes, shake-no exercise”) demonstrated by Momoyo Kiyomiya, MUJ2020 Grand Prix winner and now lead director of the MUJ2026 Beauty Camp, became a big talking point in the studio.
Mrs. Universe Japan is a pageant that celebrates not just outer beauty, but the “intelligence and elegance” that shine from within, shaped by life experience and a desire to give back to society. We are delighted that the program allowed us to share with so many people the contestants who take on challenges and keep shining at any age.
The episode is also available for catch-up streaming on TVer, so if you missed it live, please be sure to watch.
