CEO Kazue Oshima Interviewed by Entertainment Media “ENTAME next”

An interview with Kazue Oshima, CEO of Bellissima Japan K.K., which organizes Mrs. Universe Japan, has been published in two parts on the entertainment news media “ENTAME next.”

In the interview, Oshima, who has worked with more than 1,000 women over the past 10 years, talks about what inspired her to launch Mrs. Universe Japan and what she hopes to achieve through the contest.

Part 1 introduces her wish to help women who hold themselves back with thoughts like “I’m too old now” or “Someone like me could never…” believe in their own potential once again, and how encountering Mrs. pageants overseas dramatically changed her view of growing older.

Part 2 shares stories of finalists whose family relationships and lives changed after taking on the Mrs. Universe Japan challenge, and looks back on the 10 years in which Oshima herself kept going while overcoming an intractable illness and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Mrs. Universe Japan is not simply a place to compete on outer beauty.
