Mrs. Universe Japan Donation Report: Supporting Women, Mothers and Children Affected by the Kumamoto Earthquake

At Mrs. Universe Japan, we channel the warm support we receive from everyone into activities that give back to society.

As part of our 2026 charity activities, we have donated 300,000 yen to JOICFP’s “Support for Women, Mothers and Children Affected by the Kumamoto Earthquake.”

On July 28, 2026, Mrs. Universe Japan held its national final at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo.

Around the same time as the national final, a major earthquake struck Kumamoto.

While so many women stood on stage carrying their dreams and challenges, and the venue was filled with smiles, elsewhere in Japan people had suddenly lost their everyday lives and were spending anxious hours. Thinking of this stirred many emotions in us that cannot be put into words.

That is why we thought about what we could do now, and decided to turn the kindness we received through the national final and our charity activities into support for those affected by the disaster.

When a disaster strikes and living conditions change dramatically, women, mothers and children can face many difficulties. Some who need help find it hard to speak up for themselves, or struggle to reach the information and support they need.

This donation will be used for support activities that help women, mothers and children affected by the Kumamoto earthquake, as well as those who find it hard to speak up, rebuild their lives with a little more peace of mind.

At Mrs. Universe Japan, beyond outward beauty, we hold dear the belief that “a truly beautiful person is one who gives to others”.

Delivering the goodwill generated through the national final and our charity bazaar to those in need is also one of our most important activities.

This support was not something we achieved on our own.

It was made possible by the kindness of everyone who took part in the pageant, everyone who helped with our charity activities, and everyone who supports Mrs. Universe Japan.

We extend our heartfelt thanks.

We sincerely hope that everyone affected by the disaster will be able to return to peaceful daily lives as soon as possible.

2026 Charity Activities Report

In 2026, through the national final and our charity bazaar, a total of 779,800 yen in donations was raised.

The donations we received will be given to JOICFP and other support organizations to be used in their respective activities.

Once again, we sincerely thank everyone for their warm support and cooperation.

Mrs. Universe Japan will continue to expand the circle of women’s empowerment and social contribution under our motto, “Creating a kinder world through co-creation, not competition”.
