Kana Matsumura Selected and Honored at the Asia Model Awards 2021 on the Recommendation of Bellissima Japan!

Kana Matsumura, who represented Japan at Miss Tourism International 2019 through Bellissima Japan and then took on the challenge of modeling in Europe through Bellissima Japan's partner company Bianco e Rosso, where she has been thriving, received the award given to the model who was most active in Japan this year, as Japan's representative at the Asia Model Awards 2021.

The awards ceremony was held in South Korea, and Japan took part online this year.

Past award winners from Japan include Ai Shinozaki, Yuji, Saya Kagawa, Joy and Hikari Mori.

In 2020/2021, Kana Matsumura was signed with model agencies in France, Italy and the Netherlands.

Though a new model, she was chosen as the main model for Christian Louboutin Beauty's global campaign.

She has also been chosen for a MAKE UP FOR EVER advertisement and for the cover of the French magazine Version Femina.

After returning to Japan, she was appointed PR ambassador for her home prefecture of Kumamoto. On the recommendation of Bellissima Japan, Kana Matsumura was selected and honored at the Asia Model Awards, the ceremony that recognizes the most active models of 2021.

A message from Kana Matsumura

I am truly honored to receive this award. Thank you, Mr. Yang Eui Sig, Chairman of the Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee.

I would also like to thank everyone who has supported my modeling career. Kazue of Bellissima Japan gave me the opportunity to take part in an international pageant. Shoko of Bianco e Rosso supported me in developing my modeling career overseas.

I originally worked in PR at a beauty school, but meeting Kazue and Shoko changed my life. It is thanks to Shoko, an international model producer, that I was able to seize opportunities in Europe.

I will continue to be myself and enjoy modeling and my modeling career.

It is an honor to receive this award and thank you Mr. Yang Eui Sig, Chairman of Asia Model Festival Organizing Committee.

I also would like to thank all the people supporting my model career. Kazue and Bellissima Japan gave me the opportunity to join the world contest event. And thank you to Schoko and Bianco e Rosso who helped me to develop my model career overseas.

I was working as a PR specialist at a beauty school but meeting with Kazue and Schoko really changed my life. International Model Producer Schoko has been assisting me to start my model career in Europe. I will continue to work hard, always be myself, and enjoy my model career.
