Ruiyang Sun Appointed as Special Advisor
March 29, 2023
Mrs. Universe Japan, organized by Bellissima Japan K.K., is pleased to announce that Ruiyang Sun has joined the pageant as a special advisor.
■ Background to the Appointment
Under its philosophy of “WOMAN EMPOWERMENT: raising the social status of women,” Mrs. Universe Japan promotes social contribution through the challenge of competing in pageants. Mrs. Universe Japan also sends Japan’s representatives to more world pageants than any other organization in Japan, creating opportunities for more Japanese people to take on challenges on the world stage.
Ms. Sun is the host of “Ruiyang Channel,” a radio program for international listeners on Shibuya Cross FM that serves as a bridge between Japan and the world. She is a Councilor of Passion Leaders and Honorary Advisor to the International Federation of Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs, and her honors include the Grand Prix at a women entrepreneurs’ contest (2019), Special Honorary Advisor for Japan-China Friendship (2021), Japan-China Friendship Ambassador (2022), the Global Cultural Exchange Contribution Award and the International Goodwill Grand Prize (2023), and International Vitality Ambassador and the Global Friendship Bridge Special Award (2024). We are delighted to welcome Ms. Sun, who has a broad record of awards and social contribution as a bridge between Japan, China, Asia and the world.
